we know the way

Today in the One Year Bible we read these verses:

2 Samuel 4:1-6:23
John 13:31-14:14
Psalm 119:17-32
Proverbs 15:31-32 

In John, Jesus tells His disciples (and us) that we know the way to get to heaven. And His disciples are confused. "We don't even know where You're going! How could we know the way?" 

Jesus explains that He Himself is the way. He's also the Truth and the Life. If we know Him, we know the way to heaven. We know the deepest truth there is to know. And we know Life at its fullest.

Do you know Him? If not, pray and ask Him to help you know Him. Try going to church, since that's one place we can find Him (like His parents did when they lost Him as a little boy). Ask Him to draw you to Himself. 

He will. 

God, thank You for being the way, the truth, and the life. Help us know You better.
