the peace that He gives us

Today we read these verses in the One Year Bible:

2 SAMUEL 7:1-8:18
JOHN 14:15-31
PSALM 119:33-48
PROVERBS 15:33

In John, Jesus tells His disciples (and us) that He is giving us His peace. Does this mean we won't have any more troubles? No. In fact, He says that in this world we WILL have troubles. 

But His peace enables us to face our troubles without freaking out, having a panic attack, or losing our way. His peace lets us handle the problems that come in life calmly and with faith that He will help us. 

Have you experienced His peace? Ask Him to give it to you. It makes all the difference. 

God, thank you for giving us Your peace to face our troubles in life.
