one reason God loves you

Today in the One Year Bible we read these verses:

2 SAMUEL 12:1-31
JOHN 16:1-33
PSALM 119:65-80
PROVERBS 16:4-5

In John, Jesus is telling His disciples many things, some of which confuse them. But then He says something very clear. He says "The father loves you because you believe in Me." 

Now we know that God loves us, and that He IS love so just being Himself is loving us. But Jesus tells us another reason why God the father loves us: because we believe in Jesus. When you believe that Jesus really is the Son of God, and God Himself, you please the Father. He loves you for it. 

Does it need to be said that it pleases Him even more when we share our faith with other people? Who can you share your faith with today? Not in a judgemental or argumentative way. Just sharing the love that He has put in your heart. Who comes to mind? 

God, thank You for loving us, for so many reasons. Help us share Your love with everyone.
