Today we read from these verses in the One Year Bible:
Jonah 1:1-4-11
Revelation 5:1-14

Proverbs 29:26-27
Let's look at Revelation. We glimpse into the beauty of heaven. We see the victory of the Lamb over sin and death. And we see all of the angels. I never realized how many angels there are. Way more than I thought. It says ten thousand times ten thousand, which equals 100 million. An interesting fact about angels is that every single angel is its own species. So each one is unique and amazing. Besides meeting each other in heaven, and meeting all of the saints that we have read about and heard about, and meeting all of the people we have never even heard of... we have a hundred million angels to meet. And we have forever to do that, so we will get to know each one even better than we know ANYONE in this lifetime.
It's going to be amazing.
God, thanks for preparing so much wonder for us to experience when we come home.
