Today we read from these verses in the One Year Bible:
Lamentations 4:1-5:22
Hebrews 2:1-18
Psalm 103:1-22
Proverbs 26:23
Let's read Hebrews. Paul says something beautiful and profound today in this book. He says, "How shall we escape if we ignore so great a salvation?" This, first of all, tells us that if we don't realize how beautiful the gospel is, we need to read it again. And once we've heard it, we need to respond. We need to follow Jesus. Anything else is ignoring the greatest story every told - the greatest redemption ever offered.
Let's not be fools. Let's follow Him.
And if you ARE following Him, then share your faith with those in your life. They need so great a salvation, too.
God, thanks for offering us so great a salvation. Help us to receive it.
