Today we read from these verses in the One Year Bible:

Proverbs 24:9-10
And in Philippians, we read my favorite verse in the whole Bible! To live is Christ, and to die is gain. That sums up our existence! While we are here, we are learning to love Jesus and to love other people with His love. When we die, which is all too quick many times, it is even better! We get to go to the reward that God has been preparing for us for a LONG time, which is so amazing that we literally can't even imagine it.
So don't worry. Right now, we love Jesus. Very soon, we go to heaven! Are you ready?
God, thanks for giving us Jesus now and heaven soon.
