Today we read from these verses in the One Year Bible:

Galatians 3:10-22

Proverbs 23:17-18
Let's look at Galatians. Paul tells us that God gave us the law back in the Old Testament so that Abraham's seed, Jesus, would fulfill it. And THAT is a big plan, which took literally thousands of years to come to pass.
So now let's look at our lives today. God makes plans for US, too. And God uses a bigger brush to create His masterpieces than we can see from our perspective. That's one reason I recommend using a daily journal. Sometimes you pray for something in 2014 and that prayer gets answered in 2022, and if you didn't write it down, you might even forget you prayed it! So when you journal, it helps you see Him answering your prayers.
But also - trust Him. You might not see where this particular brush stroke leads. But you can trust the artist.
God, thanks for showing us that your plans are huge - and we are not.
