Let's look at the Psalm. The writer is being attacked by people who are lying all day long, and cursing God in their hearts. Does that sound familiar? So many people today, especially in politics, seem to be lying ALL OF THE TIME and getting away with it. And for now, they will. But not in the end.
But the important thing for us to remember in the midst of the lies is that God is our truth. He is the rock on which we build our lives, and our thinking, and our futures. Put your trust in God, and know that the sand that the liars are building with will inevitably fall apart.
And God never will.
God, thanks for being our foundation and our rock.
