What a beautiful and sad story that we celebrate today in the life of St Gianna Beretta Molla. She was a devout Catholic from a young age, and greatly desired a godly husband and family. She married Mr. Molla and they went to Mass regularly. She had three children. On the fourth child, she developed a tumor that threatened both her life and the life of her child. She had the tumor removed, but after delivering the healthy baby, developed complications that brought her extreme pain. She whispered, "My Jesus, I love you," over and over as she suffered. What is God calling you to? Are you willing to do what it takes, even if that means suffering?
