Today in the book In Caelo et in Terra, we read about St John Bosco. This was an entertaining man. When he was young he would use magic tricks and acrobatics to draw a crowd, and then teach the crowd about the Catholic church. He used humor all of his life to draw people to Jesus. One time he saw some kids gambling in the street. Instead of scolding them, he joined them! He won all of their money and then promised he would return it if they came to mass. They did!
God has given you some gifts, too. Maybe some unusual ones, like magic tricks or acrobatics! God uses our love and our humor to draw people to Him. How can He use you today?
God, thanks for using St John Bosco, even today, to teach us how to use ALL of our gifts to help people know You better. St John Bosco, pray for us.
