His love endures

Today we read from the One Year Bible in Chronicles 16:37-18:17. We are presented with a familiar refrain that we hear throughout the Psalms. In 16:41 it says, "give thanks to the LORD, for His faithful love endures forever."

That's a truth you can hold onto. His love for you will never fade, never diminish, never go away. He will always love you, even more than Whitney Houston and Dolly Parton combined.

You can count on His love. It doesn't mean that everything will always go easy for you. It doesn't mean that you can do whatever you feel like and everything will be OK. Your actions have consequences, and if you choose poorly, you will suffer. If you choose wisely, you might STILL suffer, because bad things most certainly happen to good people.

But through it all, no matter how far you feel you've fallen or what you feel like you've done that He can't possibly forgive... He does forgive, and He still loves you. Just reach out, and He will take your hand and lead you home.
