Today we read from 1 Chronicles 22:1-23:32 in the One Year Bible. David is building setting out to build the Temple. We know that God has him hold off and Solomon completes the task. But David is really getting into it. He's doing something he loves and feels passionate about, so it doesn't even feel like work. He can't get enough of it.
That's what happens when you discover what God wants you to do. He built you to do it, so when you find it, you just want to keep doing it. The more you do it, the more energy it gives you. You have to MAKE yourself stop to do other things.
Seek out what He wants you to do. You'll be glad you did.
God, thanks for giving us passion.
