Today we read from Deuteronomy 7:1-8:20 in the One Year Bible. Moses is reminding the Israelites that God chose them because He loves them so much.

And in last night's readings, we saw that God gave us the greatest commandment: to love Him.

It's the original love affair. God loves us more than we can fathom. And in return He asks us, above all else, to love Him back.

It's the most amazing romance ever told. And most people miss it entirely. Ask Him to show you how to love Him. It will blow your mind.

God, thank You for loving us so much. Help us love You back.
