your part in the story

Today in the One Year Bible, we read about what happens in the last days before the end of the world. Fire and blood and bitter waters. We know how it all ends, right? And we know who wins.

We also know that there are tons of people already in heaven, waiting for us. The saints that have gone before us, including Adam and Eve, Moses and Elijah and Noah from the Old Testament, and all the saints from the church like St Paul and St Francis of Assisi and St John Paul II. So many saints, already in heaven, waiting for you. It's pretty amazing when you think about it. The story is already written, and so many people are already at the end, watching to see what YOU will do with your life.

What will you do? How many people will you love? What acts of kindness will you give as gifts to those around you? If you even give a cup of water to one of these little ones, you won't lose your reward. So let's be sure to fill our days with kindness, and with love.
