Today in the One Year Bible, we read from 1 Thessalonians 4:1-5:3. Paul says that his readers are already doing the things that please God, but they should do even more.
Many of you who are reading this are in the same boat! You're already doing much that pleases God. But it's important for us to realize that we only have so many days in our lives. And there are opportunities all around us to do His will. To love people. To make the world a better place. The time flies by, doesn't it? And soon, the time we have to do good things and help people will come to a close. So let's make the most of it!
Whatever we've done so far... let's do more. Let's ask Him for opportunities to share His love. And let's ask Him to fill us so full of His love that it spills out of us and all over the people in our lives.
God, thanks for encouraging us to do more.
