Today we read from 1 Thessalonians 2:9-3:13 in the One Year Bible. Paul tells us that God's word "continues to work in you who believe."
That's why it's so important for us to share His word with the world. St Augustine very famously said that we needn't defend the truth. We just need to set it free: it will defend itself. When we put His words out into the world, they will continue to work long after we're gone.
What have you done lately to set His truth free in the world? Even just sharing a verse on Facebook might save someone's life, or change the course of their life.
