Today in the One Year Bible, we read from the last selection of the year: Revelation 22:1-21. Jesus, through the words of John, invites us to come and drink freely of the living water - the water that brings us eternal life. We have the opportunity to come to Him and receive that living water, which springs up inside of us eternally.
If you're not currently swimming in this living water, ask Him to lead you more deeply into it. Make 2019 the year that you come to drink His living water down into your thirsty soul. Make this the year that you come closer to Him than ever before.
Now is the time! His living water can lead you into the best life you've ever lived... not full of cars and houses and gold and jewels... you'll leave all those behind after the blink of an eye anyway. Instead, you'll find yourself immersed in the lives of other people... and those people you'll be able to take with you into eternity.
God, please lead us, this year, into the deepest of Your living waters.
