Jesus grew in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and all the people. He was without sin, so we know that these things are good.
there are prayers that we know God will always answer with yes. when we ask for wisdom, He will give it to us. when we ask to grow closer to Him, He will answer yes.
when we pray to be more like Jesus, He will also answer yes, and here are some of the ways He does that. He causes us to grow in wisdom and stature (that is, to grow stronger and be adults) and in favor with God (grow spiritually) and with all the people (be kind and gentle and good, which causes people to like you more. it makes you, as CS Lewis says "nicer")
God, please make me more like Jesus.
