Why Did I Do That?: One Year Bible Reading for May 2

 Today we read from these verses in the One Year Bible:

Judges 15:1-16:31

Proverbs 14:17-19

Let's look at the Proverb. "A quick tempered person does foolish things." That is very simple, and very profound. When we lose our temper, we do and often SAY things that we later regret. Learning to control your temper is a great way to learn to act more wisely and not do things that you will later wish you hadn't.

God, teach us to control our temper.
