Today we read these verses in the One Year Bible:
Deuteronomy 23:1-25:19
Luke 10:13-37
Psalm 75:1-10
Proverbs 12:12-14
Let's look at Deuteronomy. We see many qualifications for the priests who serve God and help the people of Israel to become holy, like God is. You and I are called to holiness, too. We don't need to jump through all the same hoops that the Old Testament priests did, but we do need to seek Him with all our heart, and learn to love like He does.
That's a tall enough order.
God, help us to be holy.
