Today we read from these verses in the One Year Bible:

Proverbs 14:11-12
Let's look at Luke. Luke tells us that God purposefully prevented the two walking on the road to Emmaus from realizing that it was Jesus walking with them. And it's good for us to realize that God does this. He can make people NOT see what is right in front of them. And He can help YOU to see and understand what's happening all around you.
That's one of the things we can pray for that God will always answer yes. The Bible says if anyone lacks wisdom, let him ask, and God will give him wisdom. So if you want to see and understand what's happening around you, and respond to it wisely, just ask God for wisdom. He'll give it to you!
God, thanks for giving us eyes to see.
