too stupid to be human

Today's readings: Micah 1:1-4:13, Revelation 6:1-17, Psalm 134:1-3, Proverbs 30:1-4

"I am too stupid to be human."

Wow. If ever there was a verse from the Bible I could relate to, this is it! Have you ever felt so completely exhausted... so worn out from the daily grind... that you don't even want to human anymore? You just feel like being a cat? Laying around and soaking up the sofa?

I think we've all been there at one time or another. And it's nice to know that the Bible relates to that feeling. And it gives us hope and help for those moments.

Because when we're so completely, totally, absolutely exhausted... that's when we remember that when we wait on the LORD, He renews our strength. He causes us to mount up with wings, like eagles... to run and not grow weary... to walk and not faint.

Thank You, God, for being there for us when we are too dumb to be human.
