Today in the One Year Bible we read from Matthew 12:1-21. Jesus is being criticized by the religious leaders for many things, including healing people. Notice that Jesus is DOING lots of good things, while the religious leaders are just watching Him and waiting for the right time to trap and kill Him.
This is an important lesson for us. Are you out doing lots of good in the world, like Jesus? Or are you watching the people in your life and waiting for moments to criticize them for? Let's be more patient with others, and focus on the things that WE need to fix in ourselves.
God, thank You for teaching us to do more good and criticize others less.
