Today in the One Year Bible we read from Matthew 10:1-23. Jesus is sending out His apostles. He tells them that they'll be arrested and will speak to kings and governors. He says not to worry about what to say, but let God speak through them.
He still does that today. So many times I've had someone ask a question and the answer was in my daily Bible reading that day. If we immerse ourselves in the Bible, He gives us the right answers when people have questions.
Let God speak through you the next time someone needs help. Sometimes all we need to say is "don't be afraid. He loves you."
God, thanks for speaking through us when people need You.
