He is willing

Today in the One Year Bible we read from Matthew 8:1-17. Jesus is coming down from a mountain and suddenly a wild leper appears. He says, "Lord, if You are willing, you can heal me."

And Jesus replies to him and to us, "I am willing." 

He is willing to heal you, too. Maybe He'll heal you physically of whatever malady might be hurting you. Maybe He'll heal you of the sin that is pulling you away from Him. Just ask Him and have faith in Him... He'll give you what you need.

Keep in mind that sometimes His answer is, "My grace is sufficient for you." But in those cases, His grace is what we need most. 

God, thank You for being willing to give us exactly what we need.
