Let's look at Luke. Jesus tells us some beautiful stories here. He says that God will search for you and find you and then rejoice that He found you. He tells a wonderful story about a son who squanders his inheritance and then comes to his senses and goes home, telling his father that he's not worthy to be his son anymore. But his father is so pleased that he's home that he throws a huge party and gives his son fine clothes, welcoming him back into the family.
That's how God feels about you. Yes, you. He loves you so much, whether you're walking with Him every day or whether you're far away from Him. He wants nothing more than for you to experience His love. If you're far away, ask Him to draw you back to Him. He will.
