Today we read from these verses in the One Year Bible:
Isaiah 43:14-45:10
Ephesians 3:1-21
Psalm 68:1-18
Proverbs 24:1-2
Let's look at Isaiah. God tells us that He is about to use the very ships in which the Babylonians took great pride to accomplish His will in taking the Babylonians captive.
God delights in doing that. He loves using the weak to defeat the strong. He loves using the very thing that people are trusting in (besides Him) to be their undoing.
See, God is more powerful and more intelligent than we can imagine. He can use the tiniest thing, like the butterfly in the picture above, to confound the most powerful being in the universe and all of their armies and weapons.
He can even use you and me to do His will. Just let Him.
God, thanks for using little things in big ways.
