Today we read from these verses in the One Year Bible:

Let's look at the Psalm. We see the voice of God is very powerful. And when we read back in Genesis, we see that God spoke and the universe came into existence. He provided the "big bang" that started it all. It's the energy from His voice that became all of the matter in the universe. It really is an interesting and elegant explanation for everything that exists - as long as you believe in God.
And we do.
God, thanks for speaking us into existence.
