Today we read from these verses in the One Year Bible:
1 Chronicles 26:12-27:34

Proverbs 19:17
Let's look at Chronicles. It says that several divisions of the children of Israel were assigned to certain duties in the temple.
You and I have been assigned certain duties in the church, too. Have you asked Him what they are? Are you doing them? Or, like so many people today, are you falling down on the job of what He's called you to do in your church?
God, thanks for reminding us that we've got jobs to do.
