We celebrate the Saints Louis and Zelie Martin today, their feast day. They hold a special place in my heart for several reasons. One, they brought my favorite saint of all time, St Therese of Lisieux, into the world! Two, they are role models for me because they were a married couple and parents, but they lived holy lives and were saints. And three, I was present at the mass in Rome when they were canonized! Most of their daughters became nuns! What a wonderful family! You can read more about them here and here. (this last video will change your life every time you listen to it!)
