Today we read from 2 Chronicles 29:1-36 in the One Year Bible. Hezekiah reconnects Israel with the LORD, because previous kings had gotten them cut off by doing evil.
It's easy to get cut off from God. When we sin, by being mean to other people or doing things we know we shouldn't, we find ourselves cut off from Him. We're not "abiding" in Him like He tells us to. And when that happens, it cuts off our power supply. Like He says, apart from Him we can do nothing. But with Him all things are possible.
Are you finding yourself cut off from Him today? Reach out. Confess your sins and get reconnected. It makes all the difference.
