share it all

Today we read from Numbers 36:1-Deuteronomy 1:46 in the One Year Bible. God tells the children of Israel that they've camped at Mount Sinai (pictured above) long enough, and it's time to move on. To carry out the commands that He's given.

Most of us don't feel like we're at the Mountain right now. Most of us are struggling through the valley, and some of us are facing the valley of the shadow of death. Let's keep one another in our prayers.

But something God has been teaching me lately regarding this is to share all of our times with Him. You have probably heard of "offering up" your suffering to Him, and I've blogged about that before. But He's taught me lately to offer up my good times, too. My joys. My happiness. My fun. To share everything with Him.

So if you're at the Mountain, share it with Him. If you're in the valley, share that. Wherever you are in life, share your experience with Him. He will make what you're going through, good or bad, into something remarkable.

God, thanks for teaching us to share our lives with You.
