Today in the One Year Bible, we read from Leviticus 1:1-3:17. God is giving Moses the instructions on what the Hebrews are to give Him in their sacrifices.
We don't burn animal sacrifices today. But we DO bring Him our offerings, every day. We offer Him our time, our energy, our money. But most of the time, we give Him what's left over after we do the things we want, right?
Why is that a bad plan? Well, God will take the little bit you give Him and do great things with it. But if you give Him more, you'll be amazed to see what He'll do with THAT.
God, please help us to be generous.
