Today in the One Year Bible, we read from Leviticus 13:1-59. We see that the idea of quaratining someone who has a disease is very old. They were doing it thousands of years ago.
We are facing this in a big way right now. Hundreds of people have died, and tens of thousands have become infected with the Coronavirus. Say a prayer for those who are affected, for their families, and that we can contain this before it becomes a pandemic.
God, thanks for teaching us the value of quaratine. Please be with those who suffer with Coronavirus and other diseases today.
