Today in the One Year Bible, we read from Exodus 10:1-12:13. God tells Moses that He is hardening Pharaoh's heart so that they will see what He does and "know that I am the Lord."
God does similar things in your life, did you know that? He allows things to come along that you can't handle. So that you will turn to Him, and ask His help, and then you will know that He is Lord. If we handle everything on our own, we miss out on realizing how great God is. But when we are humbled by the size of our troubles, we become even more amazed by the size of our God.
God, thanks for giving us troubles.... so we can learn to trust You.
