Today in the One Year Bible, we read from Revelation 10:1-11. John tells us that an angel shouts like the roar of a lion, and then the thunder answers him. And he was going to write down what the thunder SAID, but a voice from heaven told him not to.
We also read in the gospels that when God speaks from the sky about Jesus being His beloved son, some heard it as thunder.
What if every time it thunders, God is speaking to us? It's possible. If He DID speak to us in the thunder, here are some things He would say.
"I love you.
Don't be afraid.
Be holy, like Me.
Love each other."
God, thanks for speaking to us in different ways, even through the thunder.
