Today in the One Year Bible, John tells us what God's will is for your life. He tells us in the delightful little book of 2 John. We read the whole book today, all 21 verses. But in that short time, he tells us what God's will for your life is. Are you ready to hear it?
He says in verse 6 that God's will for your life is to love people. That's the most important thing of all. Everything else comes second. Who you'll marry, what job you'll have, what house you should buy or where you should live... all secondary. In fact, most of that won't matter at all 1000 years from now.
But how you loved people will matter. That is what lasts for eternity. That is what God calls every one of us to do. Love people.
So ask Him to help you. He definitely will. That's what He wants you to do... how could He NOT help you do it?
God, thanks for teaching us what Your will is for our lives.
