Today in the One Year Bible, we read from 1 John 4:1-21. This is one of my all time favorite passages from my favorite Biblical author. John tells us something we should repeat to ourselves every day for our entire lives.
Let's love one another. Because love is from God. And everyone that loves is born of God, and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.
Do you have hate in your heart? Ask God to fill it with Himself, with love, instead. Do you have fear? Ask Him to fill you with His perfect love, which drives out all fear.
God, thank You for being love. Fill us with Yourself.
