Today in the One Year Bible, we read from 2 Corinthians 11:16-33. Paul talks about how the people of Corinth put up with it when people come and enslave them. And that sounds ridiculous, right?
But we do, too. We become enslaved by so many things, so easily. By bad habits. By laziness. By negativity. By gossip. By porn. By jealousy. By the desire to keep up with the Joneses. Instead of living in freedom, as God intended for us when He set us free... we put up with it when our culture sells us bondage.
What are you enslaved to? Just ask, and He'll free you.
God, thanks for setting us free - help us live in freedom.
