God needs your donkey!

Today in the One Year Bible, we read from Mark 11:1-35. Jesus tells His disciples to go into a village and take the donkey that is tied up there. The owner asked what they were doing, and they told him that Jesus needed it. The owner was fine with that.

Jesus needs your donkey, too! There are things you own that Jesus wants to use to help His children. What are they? Well, you might have an idea, and Jesus knows for sure. So ask Him how He can use the things you own to help those He loves.

See, it wasn't that the donkey's owner just let ANYONE come and take his donkey. He had a relationship with Jesus, and he was open to Jesus using his donkey for the greater good. And because of that, he's in the Bible! And so is his donkey!
