Today we read some alarming things in the One Year Bible, from Revelation 12:18-13:18. We read about those who fight against God, who worship the beast, who take his mark on their hands or foreheads. What does it mean? Fortunately, we don't have to figure that out.
What we do is love God. That ensures that our name is written in His book, and that His seal is on us. That He will protect us against the evils of the world. Fortunately, we don't have to be clever and outsmart the devil (because we can't... he's been around alot longer than we have). God keeps it simple for us. Love Him, love other people. If they're evil, we should love them anyway. We're not fighting them. We're fighting the evil that has them under its spell. And maybe... just maybe... we might win them over with our love.
God, thanks for making it simple, even in the hard times. Help us love everyone.
