everywhere I go, I see You
Today in the One Year Bible, we read from Revelation 11:1-19 and Psalm 139:1-24. We read some crazy, scary things in Revelation about two prophets who die and come back to life, and lots of lightning and thunder and hail at the end of time. It's enough to get us anxious.
Fortunately, we have Psalm 139 right on its heels. Yes, things might get scary in our lives, but the Psalmist tells us most assuredly that God will be with us through it all. No matter how scary things get in our lives, He will be there with You. He will either deliver you from it, or He'll give you the strength to make it through.
Like Rich Mullins says in THIS SONG, wherever we go in our lives, we find Him. Even when we're not going there to LOOK for Him, we'll find Him. He is there for us every day of our lives, through everything we face... if we reach out, we'll find Him.
God, thanks for being there for us, through the good times... and the scary ones.
