we have more to learn

Today we read from Hebrews 5:1-14 in the One Year Bible. Paul says that he has alot more he wants to say to those reading his letter, but that they don't seem to be paying attention. They need to grow up.

And that can probably be said about all of us at one time or another. We need to pay attention. To stop living on the easy milk, and start chewing on the real meat that He wants us to have.

So we should pray. That God will help us to focus, to grow in our faith, and to learn to eat the real meat that He offers us every day.

God, thank You for Your milk and for Your meat. Help us to grow from one to the other.
