if it seems we're crazy

Today in the One Year Bible, we read from 2 Corinthians 5:11-21. Paul says, "If it seems we've gone crazy, it is to bring glory to God."

That's the kind of crazy we should be. Really being truly ourselves, which sometimes seems crazy to other people. When God frees us to not worry about what other people think, we become ourselves in a way that seems very odd to others. That's why many of the saints seem crazy. They were truly being themselves. And that kind of "crazy" brings glory to God, who freed us to be ourselves more deeply than previously possible.

God, please help us to be brave enough to be ourselves - even if it means people think we're crazy. And help that crazy bring You glory.
