sudden storms
Today in the One Year Bible, we read from Acts 27:1-20. In this story, Paul is aboard a ship that comes into a sudden storm at sea. The storm is very bad and continues for days, and eventually all hope is lost among the crew.
Storms can come up fast in life, can't they? One day everything is great. The next day we're struggling against the wind, and all hope is lost. But we can trust in the same One that Paul trusted in. We can put our faith in the One who spoke and calmed the storms at sea. He may not calm your storm right away, but He will take care of you as you weather it. Don't lose hope. He's got you.
God, thank You for taking us through the storms. And thank You for taking care of us.
