Today we read about Paul in the One Year Bible, from Acts 21:37-22:16. In this passage, Paul asks, "What are you waiting for? Get up and be baptised, and have your sins washed away by calling on the name of the Lord."
And that same question comes to us. God is calling us to do His work. The fields are ripe for harvest - so much good work to be done - and He has certain work set aside just for you. Do you feel like you're doing it already? If so, more power to you! Keep up the good work!
If not - what are you waiting for? Let's get busy. Let's help bring His kingdom on earth as it is in heaven. Ask Him to show you what that work is. And then let's get busy doing it. You will find no greater joy than in doing the thing that He is calling you to do.
God, thank You for having a certain work set aside for each of us. Help us find it - and do it.
