Hello, everyone! CLICK HERE for the OT reading for January 4, and CLICK HERE for the New Testament reading. Our readings today, talk about Jesus preaching, "Repent of your sins, and turn to God, for the kingdom of Heaven is near."
He meant that in many ways, and one of them is meant for us today. And by "us", I mean everyone listening. Those who have been away from God for a long time. Those who try to walk with Him daily. All of us have a daily decision to make: to repent of our sins, turn back to God, because His kingdom is near. We sin daily, we turn from them and back to God daily. It's a constant process of repentance and dying to our selves. But the great thing about it is that we experience His kingdom more each day. His kingdom come, His will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
God, please help us repent of our sins, turn to You, and experience Your kingdom. Every day.
