Don't Worry: The One Year Bible Reading for March 5

 Today we read from the following verses in the One Year Bible:

Numbers 4:1-5:31
Mark 12:18-37
Psalm 48:1-14
Proverbs 10:26

Let's look at Psalm 48. The Psalmist says that we shouldn't be concerned when there's trouble in our lives because we should trust God, not riches. No matter how rich or poor we are in our lives, we all face the same grave. God will be there with us in the end whether we die with all the toys or none of them. So let's be generous and give away the things we don't need so other people can be a little happier in this valley of tears.

God, thanks for teaching us to depend on You, and not wealth.
