You Can Be a Fountain: One Year Bible Reading for February 23

 Today we read from the One Year Bible in these passages:

Leviticus 14:1-57
Mark 6:30-56
Psalm 40:1-10
Proverbs 10:11-12

Let's look at Proverbs. We have two huge nuggets of wisdom here. One is that the mouth of the righteous is a fountain of life. And the other is that love covers a multitude of sins. Let's focus on the first.

If you are "plugged in" to Jesus (see John 15 for details) then you become a bubbling fountain. That means that even though the other people in your life might take and take from you, never seeming to give back, you can keep on giving. Because He becomes your source. Source of what? Wisdom. Love. Joy. Peace. Creativity. Patience. Kindness. All of the things that make life worth living. You become a FONT of them. A source of them that never runs out.
