Today we read from the One Year Bible in the following passages:
Exodus 19:16-21:21
Matthew 23:13-39
Psalm 28:1-9
Proverbs 7:1-5
And that's exactly what jumps out at me today. When you read Proverbs 7, you see the writer admonishing us (that means encouraging us or telling us to) to listen and store up the commands of wisdom in the writings that we're reading.
What does that mean?
It means to do exactly what we're doing RIGHT NOW. Read the Bible. Learn what it says. Apply it to your life. Maybe even memorize parts of it (storing it in your "heart") for when those tough questions come up and you need some wisdom.
So meet me back here each day and get your daily dose of wisdom that will help you along the road you're treading.
God, thanks for giving us Your wisdom to store up. Help us to meet with you every day.
